In the afternoon of November 19, Deputy Director Li Shi met with the delegation led by Barcelona's Deputy Mayor Antoni Vives and both sides exchanged views on how to strengthen bilateral trade and cooperation.

During the meeting, Li Shi extended warm welcome to the delegation, highlighted Shenzhen's investment environment and economic development, and expected Barcelona to join in Shenzhen's development drive. Antoni Vives explained Barcelona's aim and concept of hi-tech industries and building a 'Smart City', and expressed wishes to enhance cooperation with Shenzhen through high-level visits and high-end exhibitions.
