On 24th September, Shenzhen held investment promotion conference on modern logistic industry in Rotterdan, Netherlands. The conference was striving for attracting the investment from Dutch logistic enterprises, the focus of this conference was on modern logistic industry. Together, more than 80 attendees from Dutch-Chinese government departments and Dutch enterprises presented the conference.

In the welcome address, Wang Youming, Director General of Invest Shenzhen, indicated that Shenzhen is a modern cosmopolis with economic strength in the forefront of the large and medium-sized cities in China, Shenzhen has created the miracle of world industrialization, modernization and urbanization. Modern logistic industry has thrived in this city, with the biggest land route port and one of China's top five major airports, Shenzhen has become the foremost transportation hub and logistics center in Asian- Pacific region.

During the conference, Head of General Office of Invest Shenzhen, Zhang Feimeng made the comprehensively introduction on economic development, she further illustrated the city excellent business environment and promoted the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone. In addition, in order to provide better overview of modern logistic development to all distinguished guests and enterprise representatives, the Deputy Director of Shenzhen Transportation Committee, Li Chuan, elaborated the current status and future direction of development of modern logistic, furthermore, the reprehensive of Shekou Container Terminal Company shared the successful business developing and expanding experiences in Shenzhen.
