Jointly sponsored by Invest Shenzhen and Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, "Invest Shenzhen, Sow a Winning Future" the 2012 Shenzhen-Singapore Investment Promotion Seminar was successfully held in Singapore in the morning of October 30.

The conference was attended by about 100 business leaders, bankers, lawyers and journalists, including: Fang Jiawen, Secretary-General of Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Embassy of China in Singapore; Ms. Chen Shuyu, deputy chief of International Enterprise Singapore; Simon Li, Vice President of Singapore Manufacturers' Federation; and Prof. Phua Kok Khoo, President of the Singapore-China Business Association. At the conference, Deputy Director Li Shi introduced Shenzhen's superior investment environment, and Tony Tan, President of CapitaRetail China Trust Management Limited, shared his investment experience in Shenzhen.

Shenzhen and Singapore complement each other perfectly. The two cities enjoy a broad cooperation range across various sectors including ICT, financial services, energy conservation, and green technologies. The conference was designed to promote Shenzhen to Singapore companies, and boost investment, development, and expansion in the city.
