Sponsored by Shenzhen municipal government and organized by Invest Shenzhen, Conference on Shenzhen's Business Environment Introduction was held on May 15 with the theme of "Invest in Shenzhen, Build a Winning Future". The conference attracted around 200 representatives from some 160 enterprises and agencies. At the conference, 16 enterprises with intensions of investing in Shenzhen signed cooperation agreements worth a total of around RMB180 billion with Shenzhen municipal government.

These agreements cover typical and key investment projects that can significantly boost the development of different sectors such as headquarters-driven economy, high-end services, and R&D institutes. As many as 12 leading enterprises including Germany's SAP and Templeton Asset Management plan to set up China or regional headquarters in Shenzhen. Companies such as Xiaomi and Everbright Environmental Protection will launch R&D projects in Shenzhen. These companies enjoy huge growth potential in their respective sectors. These agreements will breathe new life into Shenzhen's sustainable economic development and facilitate investors’ business in the city.
