On August 7, the deputy chief of the Department of Foreign Trade And Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province Chen Yuehua and Invest Shenzhen Deputy Director General Li Shi, met with Dr.Markus Wittmann, the chief representative of the German Freistaat Bayern Economic Department in China.

Invest Shenzhen established ties with the German organization during a visit to Germany last year. Promoted jointly by Guangdong's Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and Invest Shenzhen, the German Freistaat Bayern Economic Department plans to set up a branch office in Shenzhen to help enterprises in Freistaat Bayern invest in Shenzhen.
