On September 22, 2016, the Shenzhen International BT Leadership Summit (abbreviated as BT Summit) was launched at the Convention Center in Shenzhen. The theme of the summit was "green economy, create a better life". There were more than 200 well-known international biotechnology companies taking part in exhibitions and at least 30,000 professionals attending from more than 10 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, America, and Oceania.

　　Invest Shenzhen successfully held its seventh "755 life and health industry forum" and joined with the Dapeng new district management committee to hold the "Shenzhen International Bio Valley Precision Medical International Collaborative Innovation Forum". The forum attracted more than 100 biotechnology/life and health science industry experts, scholars, and investors from top 500 companies including Abbott Laboratories, Shenzhen Rhodes International Translational Medicine Research Institute, HighLight Capital, and Hanstar Technologies. Participants together explored new trends and evolution in biotechnology and life and health science industry developments. An agreement was signed at this activity together by the International Medical Recovery Alliance Research Center (Shenzhen), Oxford University Immune Diagnosis and Treatment Research Institute in China, the Platform for Specific Immune Function Testing and Immune Treatments, and the China Science Group Research Institute for Future Biotechnology (Shenzhen). Total investments reached 500 million RMB.
