Shenzhen Investment Cooperation and Exchange Conference held in Boao, Hainan Province, China　　

　　The Shenzhen Investment Cooperation and Exchange Conference was successfully held at the BFA Hotel on March 25 and was co-sponsored by Shenzhen Municipal Government and the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2017 and organized by Invest Shenzhen. 

　　The theme of this conference was "Shenzhen - Open City & Innovation Capital". About 180 people from politics, business, academia, media and other fields at home and abroad participated in the conference. Yasuo FUKUDA, Chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia, Zeng Peiyan, Vice Chairman of Boao Forum for Asia and former Vice Premier of the State Council of China, GOH Chok Tong, Emeritus Senior Minister of the Republic of Singapore, Jean-Pierre RAFFRAIN, former Prime Minister of France, Dame Jenny Shipley, former Prime Minister of New Zealand, and Long Yongtu, former Vice Minister of Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economy Cooperation, attended the conference. Xu Qin, a member of the Standing Committee of CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, Secretary of CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, and Mayor of Shenzhen, and Zhou Wenzhong, Secretary General of Boao Forum for Asia, each made speeches during the conference. Dirk Van den Berghe, CEO of Walmart (Asia), shared his investment experience in Shenzhen.

　　Before the conference, Xu Qin met with Sir Richard John Roberts, who was awarded the 1993 Noble Prize, and Wang Xiaochuan, CEO of Sougou. Guo Yonghang and Chen Biao, Shenzhen Municipal leaders, and Li Tingzhong, Shenzhen Municipal Secretary General, also participated.
