In an effort to strengthen Shenzhen’s ties with innovative Swiss enterprises, a delegation of Swiss enterprises visited Shenzhen and jointly held the “Sino-Swiss Innovation Night” with Invest Shenzhen and the Consulate General of Switzerland in Guangzhou on July 3. Invited by Invest Shenzhen and organized by swissnex China,. nearly 100 people attended the conference, including Mr. Didier Boschung, Consul-General of the Consulate General of Switzerland in Guangzhou, representatives of swissnex China, and representatives from enterprises in Switzerland and Shenzhen. Didier Boschung delivered a speech that mentioned long-term friendly relations between China and Switzerland and underlined Swiss enterprises’ innovation advantages and development prospects. Zhang Feimeng, Deputy Director of Invest Shenzhen, introduced Shenzhen’s development situation and potential opportunities for investment and innovation in Shenzhen, and invited Swiss and other international innovative enterprises and groups to seek mutually-beneficial cooperation arrangements with Shenzhen.

　　The ten innovative Swiss enterprises in attendance come from cutting-edge fields such as communications engineering, drone technology, medtech, biotech, modern agriculture, and air purification. These firms gave presentations elaborating on their respective technologies and products and expressed intentions to develop in Shenzhen. After the conference, the Swiss enterprises and several Chinese enterprises and investors also exchanged information about their respective fields and discussed investment cooperation.
