On August 29, Director Wang Youming met with China Merchants Bank Shenzhen Branch President Yue Ying. The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening the exchange of information and sharing of resources as well as cooperation and participation in promotional activities. They also talked about jointly enhancing Shenzhen’s "business and commercial environment" and exploring cooperation on the development of industry funds so as to offer professional financial services to enterprises that invest in Shenzhen. Branch President Yue Ying said that as Shenzhen’s competitiveness continues to improve, Invest Shenzhen has become a full-time investment promotion department of the municipal government, and China Merchants Bank is willing to cooperate with the agency to optimize the city’s investment and business environment, and encourage outstanding enterprises to make substantial investments in Shenzhen. Director Wang Youming welcomed Yue Ying and his delegation, and said they would further explore innovative modes of cooperation between the two sides and help with the financial institution evaluation system so as to optimize the investment and business environment of Shenzhen.

For more than 10 years its comprehensive tax contributions have ranked it number one in Shenzhen. China Merchants Bank, as a financial institution headquartered in Shenzhen, is currently the only bank at which the Shenzhen Municipal Government-led fund has opened an account. It is also the major cooperative bank working with the Kunpeng Fund and Shenzhen Talents Housing Group.
