On January 17, 2018, a meeting on exchanging experiences on investment promotion for industrial parks was held at Shenzhen Software Industry Base. Attendees included Jia Changsheng, Deputy Director of Invest Shenzhen, Wang Huaben, Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen Investment Holdings, Qiu Wen, Chairman of Shenzhen Bay Technology Development, and Zhang Peng, Secretary-General of Shenzhen International Investment & Promotion Association as well as heads of investment promotion departments from each district and leaders from more than 150 industrial parks.

　　Qiu Wen, Gao Jun, chairman of the industrial property arm of Vanke, a representative from Baoneng Science and Technology Industrial Park, and Li Yuan, Director of economic promotion bureau of Nanshan District, shared their experiences on the development of industrial parks. Responding to an initiative by the secretariat of Shenzhen International Investment & Promotion Association, 16 companies in industrial parks established a commission for exchanges among industrial parks in Shenzhen. Jia Changsheng addressed the meeting and proposed strategic suggestions on the operation of industrial parks. Invest Shenzhen will aim for world-class standards and match resources in China and overseas to attract premium industrial projects.
