Invest Shenzhen recently convened a meeting to properly arrange visits by leaders from major municipalities and prepare for exchange activities in investment and cooperation in Silicon Valley. During the meeting, Invest Shenzhen introduced the background and preparations for the visits and representatives from other departments gave briefings on their planning and preparations for signing of agreements. Zhang Feimeng, Deputy Director of Invest Shenzhen, said that the visits will promote innovation cooperation and integration between Shenzhen and Silicon Valley, boost investment and technological cooperation and exchanges among companies in the two regions, and promote comprehensive competiveness and advantages of Shenzhen and local companies. All the companies that attended the meeting said they will actively participate in the initiative.

　　The meeting was attended by representatives from nearly 20 renowned companies in Shenzhen such as China Merchants Group, ZTE, Ping An and China International Marine Containers (Group).
