Delegation Led by Invest Shenzhen Deputy Director Zhang Feimeng Holds Investment Promotion Events in Germany, Switzerland and Portugal

  From April 17 -26, an investment promotion delegation led by Invest Shenzhen Deputy Director Zhang Feimeng and including members from Baoan’s investment promotion bureau and business service center visited Germany, Switzerland and Portugal to hold investment promotion events under the theme of technological innovation and cooperation in emerging sectors. The visits were aimed at introducing large-scale projects to Shenzhen, strengthen networks for overseas investment promotion, and boost cooperation between Shenzhen and developed countries and major cities in Europe among emerging strategic industries.

  During its trip to Germany, Switzerland and Portugal, the delegation held three investment cooperation conferences under the theme of “Invest in Shenzhen for a Win-Win Future” in Stuttgart, Zurich and Lisbon, during which the delegation gave a detailed introduction of Shenzhen’s excellent business environment and opportunities for industrial development to over 300 representatives from local governments and businesses. The delegation gave an overview of China’s stable regime, policy and current conditions, which reinforced the confidence of local businesses in regards to investing and cooperating in Shenzhen. Chinese Ambassador to Portugal Cai Run and Ma Boyin, deputy secretary general of the Shenzhen municipal government, were invited to attend the investment cooperation conference in Lisbon and both delivered speeches.

  During the trip, the delegation also visited companies such as LK Luftqualitaet AG, Gubelin Group and EDP and held talks with institutions and associations such as CSEM, CCILC and AJEPC to discuss measures designed to strengthen exchanges and cooperation.
