1.市驻海外代表处根据市政府或市商务局的工作部署，承担“走出去”“引进来”和“招才引智”工作，协助组织开展科技、教育、旅游、文化、侨务等各领域交流。

To implement the work requirements of the People's Government of Shenzhen Municipality or the Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, undertake tasks regarding “going global”, “bringing in” and “talent introduction”, and facilitate the exchanges and cooperation in the fields of science and technology, education, tourism, culture and overseas Chinese affairs.

　　2.联系所在地区重点企业、投资商，积极主动地与当地政府、资本输出机构、中介机构、商会及知名跨国公司建立广泛密切的合作关系，并为其提供我市有关信息和相关服务。

　　2. To liaise with local key enterprises and investors, actively establish extensive and close cooperative relationships with local governments, capital export agencies, intermediary agencies, chambers of commerce and well-known multinational companies, and provide them with relevant information and services of Shenzhen.

　　3.负责合法收集所在地区经贸、商务信息，为我市企业提供有关信息和服务。

　　3. To legally collect local economic, trade and commerce information and provide relevant information and services for Shenzhen's enterprises.

　　4.组织所在地区企业、商会来我市进行实地考察、项目洽谈等商务活动，并为来我市开展经贸活动争取有关方面的支持和合作。

　　4. To arrange for local enterprises and chambers of commerce to visit Shenzhen and negotiate projects, and strive for support and cooperation from relevant parties on economic and trade events in Shenzhen.

　　5.承办或者协助承办我市在驻在国及周边地区开展的经贸促进活动，包括策划、宣传、客户发动、项目跟踪落实等工作。

　　5. To organize or co-organize Shenzhen's economic and trade promotion events in the host country and surrounding regions, including event planning, publicity, customer mobilization, and project follow-up and implementation.

　　6.完成上级交办的其它工作任务。
