Cross-border e-commerce summit draws world execs

2017-04-27

WITH 200 attendees from 32 countries around the world visiting the Pearl River Delta area for the trade show season, the team at Global From Asia has just completed its second annual conference, the International Summit of Global E-commerce, in Shenzhen on Friday and Saturday.

The annual conference is an international summit for global e-commerce businesspeople. The two-day event was hosted by Global From Asia.

The first day primarily covered importing and distribution in China.

The lectures were given by speakers including Kris Wang, representative from Qianhai Authority, WeChat marketing expert Matthew Brennan from China Channel, and Winston Sterzel, China's first and most famous Youtube video blogger. They focused on the issue of non-Chinese seeking to grow and expand their reach in the Chinese market.

The second day emphasized export and B2C (business-to-consumer) e-commerce. Jon Myers, CEO of AMZ Tracker, a popular Amazon seller and other e-commerce experts shared their tactics with the audience.

Michael Michelini, founder of Global From Asia, said, "The world continues to grow globally. As every business is required to be international, the knowledge gap between China and overseas must be narrowed. We enjoy bringing together top experts in the industry and look forward to the next e-commerce summit in April 2018."

"Thanks for the summit. I've gained a lot of different perspectives and ideas for my business," said Leslie Chongays, an attendee from Singapore.

Jason Lan, from BESTEK, said, "It is a great international summit. The attendees are very interested in our F2C (factory to consumer) business model. I appreciate the summit for offering this opportunity to gain a lot of business opportunities."

At the conference, the Global From Asia team debuted its new services market, https://market.globalfromasia.com.
