The number of IPOs on the A-share market hit a new high in 2017. Among newly listed companies in 2017 were 40 enterprises from Shenzhen, accounting for nearly 10% of the total number and 40% of the 98 IPOs from Guangdong. Companies from Shenzhen were among the largest numbers of IPOs and had the biggest total market capitalization.
