On January 10, Invest Shenzhen held a meeting with a delegation led by Joseph Day, Co-Chair of Canada-China Legislative Association. Also in attendance were Rachel Bedlington, Consul General of Canada in Guangzhou, and Cheng Zhiqiang, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Office, Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress.

　　At the meeting Invest Shenzhen gave an introduction to Shenzhen's business environment and industry related matters. Parties then discussed Shenzhen's development status and investment opportunities for Canadian businesses, as well as talent exchange programs and characteristics of industries in Shenzhen.
