On April 18, the Shenzhen Municipal Commerce Bureau held a business meeting in Hong Kong titled “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Brings Mutual Benefit”. The meeting’s theme focused on exploring development opportunities for the life and health industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and attracted about 50 participants, including representatives and investment agencies from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization and Hong Kong’s biomedical as well as life and health industries.

　　At the meeting, Deputy Director General Zhang Feimeng gave a welcome speech and invited Hong Kong enterprises to seize the historic opportunity created by the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and to join in integrating Hong Kong's technological innovation with Shenzhen's industrialization. The Foreign Trade Division, Foreign Investment Management Division, Investment Promotion Division and the Investment Attraction Group for Major Projects of the Shenzhen Municipal Commerce Bureau presented Shenzhen's business environment and foreign investment and trade policies to meeting participants and answered questions. They also invited representatives from Shenzhen’s life and health industry parks to give Hong Kong participants a report on Shenzhen's park industrialization plan. The government and business sides engaged in cordial exchange at the meeting, creating a warm atmosphere and achieving wonderful results.
