The 2022 Shenzhen-Macao Economic and Trade Exchange Conference and Branded Products Matchmaking Fair, organized by the Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality and sponsored by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, kicked off in Macao. The grand event seeks to deepen the economic and trade cooperation between Shenzhen and Macao, promote Shenzhen's investment environment and branded products, and facilitate the matchmaking between enterprises in the two cities and intended customers and market expansion. Mr. Sun Bin, Deputy Director of Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, and Mr. Huang Weilun, Executive Member of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, attended the Conference.

　　In his welcome speech, Mr. Yao Wenkai, Director of International Cooperation Division, Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality and First Class Consultant, expressed his hope to better utilize Macao's advantages, and make Shenzhen and Macao more closely connected and mutually recognized to facilitate the trade between the two places by virtue of the mainland's strengths. According to Mr. Huang Weilun, Executive Member of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, Macao and Shenzhen share a broad space of potential cooperation in building industrial chains of related fields. In the future, through various strategies such as integrating advantageous resources, optimizing business layout and innovating development models, we will jointly promote economic and trade cooperation between the two cities towards higher levels and wider areas. At the Conference, the Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality promoted Shenzhen's comprehensive business environment and extended a cordial invitation to all attendees to invest in Shenzhen. Then, representatives from two enterprises in Macao and Shenzhen shared their experiences and learnings of investing and developing businesses in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Through this event, two pairs of enterprises from Shenzhen and Macao established cooperation, Gupin (Shenzhen) Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. and Man Seng Group signing a trade contract, and Shenzhen Unicomp Technology Co., Ltd. and FNET signing an MOU.

　　The delegation of Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality organized 14 Shenzhen enterprises to attend the "2022 Guangdong-Macao Branded Products Fair" co-organized by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province. It is reported that this year's Guangdong-Macao Branded Products Fair has brought together more than 70,000 professional buyers and audiences, leading to more than 140 negotiations through online and offline channels. During the Fair, the Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality also exchanged views and discussed cooperation with the Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, Macao Development Strategy Research Center, Guangdong and Macao Federation of Industry and Commerce and Macao Fair and Trade Association.
